Soundbath Ethos
Soundbath has evolved over the last four years, bringing people together in beautiful settings to share music, rejuvenative practices, and a sense of community.
Our recipe is simple:
pick a spectacular venue,
curate 3 4 days of workshops, classes, and new experiences,
share delicious communal chef-led dining, and
enjoy an array of sound and music.
In Praise of a Party
Our workshops and classes are carefully curated with the aim of creating a fresh mental landscape for listening, talking and dancing.
With high-quality soundsystems and a breadth of music through day and night, this is a pretty magical combination!
There will be three listening areas across the site this year - something we’ve never done before - each with their own style and sound.
A Community Approach
Soundbath is founded on the belief and power in community.
At the centre of this is sharing.
This principle is simple; bring something to share with others. This can be anything from baked goods, decorations, your time, or even a workshop.
It’s hard to express how this feels in reality. Trust us, it’s worth it :)
However, your attendance is already a wonderful contribution, so don’t stress if you can’t. There will be plenty of opportunities to contribute over the weekend too.
Retallack (re-TAL-ack)
Retallack is a 45-acre, family-owned woodland and natural spa. Shaped with love and care by our hosts over more than 35 years, this is a truly-unique spot.
Tucked into the landscape is The Quarry, a secluded natural spa surrounded by mossy grass and trees. A wood-fired hot tub, glass-fronted sauna, and cool freshwater quarry for dipping - a slice of heaven in our eyes.
The rest of the land can be explored through winding paths, woodlands and meadows. At the highest point, The Lookout, views stretch across both coasts.
At the heart of the landscape sits The Barn - a Celtic, medieval-inspired space watched over by a dragon with no name. It’s a place we transform into the party barn of dreams.
